Penfolds Koonunga Hill 2021

66% Shiraz, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon. TA 6.1 g/l, pH 3.62. 12 months in older American and French oak . Penfolds entry level with good sweet palate attack but a bit of Carignan rankness. Some Koonunga Hills from the 1970s and 1980s recorked in Sydney recently! Not much follow-through.
