Saint Leocadie was living in the 4th century at Toledo in Spain ; she has been a victim of Roman persecution against Christians and more especially of Dacien who performed with zeal and cruelty biddings coming from Rome. Her name appears very early in AIGNE history; wisigothic necropolis, with in turn, gaves with bones inside; funeral vases, amphorae and tegulae. It is one of the oldest places for worship…but nothing remains of the chapel of the past. Our great grand-parents, impressed by such a "rich in spiruality" past, erected Saint Léocadie's statue at the top of the building and then she takes care to the millennium wineyard.
