Chateau Montrose 2012

Deep, dark, almost opaque, ruby red colour. On the nose there is closed, dark-fruit, quite chocolatey/cocoa in nature. Palate has fine graphite notes. The fruit is very closed with suggestions of cassis, but predominantly earthy & closed. Acid is fresh, structure lasts well but fruit is almost completely closed.
