The Château de Puligny-Montrachet is a beautiful house built in the seventeenth century and restored under the Empire by its owner, Jean-Baptiste Esdouhard, then mayor of Beaune and Chief of the Department of Côte Or. From 1950, and for more than forty years, the poet winemaker Roland Thevenin perpetuate this tradition, contributing to the reputation of Burgundy wines. It receives politicians, religious or artistic illustrious of his time.
